A Sorta Fairytale

On my way up north, upon the Ventura I pulled back the hood and I was talking to you and I knew that it would be a life long thing but I didn't know that we we could break a silver lining and I'm so sad like a good book and i can't put this day back A sorta fairytale with you. - A Sorta Fairytale by Tori Amos

i can't take my mind off you

The Blower

And so it is, just like I hoped it would be, life goes easy on me most of the time. And so it is, the shorter story, no love, no glory, a hero in his eyes. I can't take my eyes off you, I can't take my mind off you. And so it is, just like they said it should be, we'll both just feel the breeze, most of the time. And so it is, the colder water, the blower's daughter, the pupil in denial. I can't take my eyes off you, I can't take my mind off you.

Did I say that I love you?
Did I say that I want to leave it all behind?

I can't take my mind off you.
